A Teacher's Legacy: High Level Relationship Intelligence


Strategies to help respond to challenging behaviors

This session is designed for teachers and school administration staff who want to learn practical skills to help better engage and relate to challenging behavior.  Participants will explore the importance of creating a strength-based culture and examine why kids act-up and misbehave.  Participants will learn proactive intervention strategies and also learn to respond instead of react to problem behavior. 

After attending this session participants will be able to:

  • Develop and nurture positive connections and build healthy, positive relationships;
  • Deal more effectively with challenging behavior;
  • Discuss the importance of personal self-awareness and self-management in working with children, youth, and families;
